IF YOU WAKE UP AT THE SAME TIME EVERY NIGHT, THIS MAY BE WHY

BRAIN FUNCTION AND WAKING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

When we suddenly wake up at night, our brains are not fully awake. According to The NewYorker.com ‘One of the consequences of waking up suddenly, and too early, is a phenomenon called sleep inertia. First given a name in 1976, sleep inertia refers to that period between waking and being fully awake when you feel groggy. The more abruptly you are awakened, the more severe the sleep inertia.’

Sudden waking up at night is not good at all because the prefrontal cortex part of the brain which is involved in decision-making and self-control is not awake yet. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid making any important decision when you wake up at night, as you are not capable of wise decisions.

WAKING UP AND FULFILLING YOUR HIGHER PURPOSE

The sleep cycle is the time when you dream and while you sleep, you go through cycles of sleep states. At this point, you can also receive messages from the Divine about your future and the spiritual journey that you are on. Being aware of the signs that your Higher Power is sending to you is of utmost importance.

Just like emotional issues can manifest in the body as pain, the spirituality manifests in other bodily forms as well. The divine inner spark that we all have is being called upon at the time of waking up.

According to many people`s personal belief, we are here with a purpose- to learn, develop, and become the best version of ourselves. This process is referred to as process of moving to a higher level of awareness and being aware of your higher purpose is part of the process.

No matter whether you believe in ascension or not, waking up between 3am and 5 am on a regular basis is something that is not normal for you. Your Higher Power asks you to pay particular notice at the messages sent to you and urging you to take action to align yourself with the Divine.
