This One Fruit Kills Malignant Cells Of 12 Different Types Of Cancer
According to recent studies, the graviola fruit, also known as guanabana or soursop in different parts of the world, can eliminate 12 different types of cancer cells. This fruit has amazing anticancer properties, and has shown that it can defeat cervical, prostate, colon, ovarian, breast, liver and pancreatic cancer cells.
In one study conducted at the University of Nebraska, the graviola extract changed the metabolism of pancreatic cancer cells and successfully killed them. Another study showed that the extract of the fruit is 10 000 more potent than Adriamycin, a common chemotherapy drug, and the best part is that graviola is completely cytotoxic, meaning that it only kills the cancer cells.
Tested on cervical cancer, the fruit also managed to kill the cells effectively, while a study showed that graviola extract can also destroy breast cancer cells. According to data from the study, the extract works by triggering the growth inhibition of MDA-MB-468 cellsin vitro and in vivo studies by using a mechanism that lights up the EGFR\ERK signaling pathway. This shows that GFE has cancer preventive effects.
As you can see, many studies have highlighted graviola’s anticancer potential, and it owes these effects due to the presence of acetogenins, powerful inhibitors of the NADH oxidase of the cancer cells’ plasma membranes. Besides acetogenins, the fruit also contains phytochemicals such as kaempferol, annonamine, quercetin, friedelin, xylopine, anonaine, asimilobine, isolaureline and anomurine.
