Although some scientists suggest that a plant-based diet is the solution against Alzheimer’s and dementia, even vegans and vegetarians lack some of the 3 important vitamins. Vegans are also more prone to the risk of hyperhomocysteinemia as they lack vitamin B12. This means that you should keep all 3 vitamins in perfect balance, and optimize their levels in order to prevent brain loss and benefit from them.
